Bootsville...

Couple o' bootlegs from the early '90s, showcasing the high and low points of the world famous German bootleg industry...

-----

KEEP WARM BURN OUT THE RICH 7"
600
white vinyl
Cool live bootleg with material recorded in Germany on their '91 Euro tour. Presumably all copies are on white vinyl, and all copies are numbered in pen on the top right corner of the back cover. Excellent 3-panel fold-out sleeve with a band interview (printed in German, unfortunately), lyrics and some humorous liner notes. Sound quality is great considering the sides are both very long for a 7" (close to 8 mins each) — but overall this is a very high quality affair for a bootleg, and definitely worth seeking out.

PLASTIC BOMB b/w WE GOT THE BEAT 7"
500
black vinyl
Not-so-cool ca$h-in bootleg containing both songs from the Plastic Bomb promo cassette, taken directly from the tape and coming complete with crappy dot-matrix cover art. Sometimes I think it's funny/cool when bootleggers beat the bands to the punch and get records out before the official versions, but this thing is just a lame attempt at easy money. For obsessive competists only — save your money for the Official Bootleg double 7" (or the original cassette).
